Illegal Immigrants Are Being Deported By Trump Administration As Promised

Unlike most of the previous Presidents, Donald Trump is a man of his word and he keeps the promises he made during his campaign true. The promise to enforce existing US immigration laws, including the deportation of those who entered our country illegally, is also coming true, Independent Journal Review reports.

Wall Street Journal reported that President Trump pressed ahead with his immigration crackdown launching deportation raids across our country this week.

Independent even more dramatically reported that “Panic” and “terror” is said to be running through immigrant communities in the US following raids carried out across at least 6 states as part of Trump’s pledge to crack down on illegal immigrants.

The Dialy Beast reported that over the last five days ICE agent in the Los Angeles area arrested more than 160 undocumented immigrants. Immigrants’ rights groups and lawyers said that ICE also increased its enforcement activities even in apartment buildings in Atlanta, Phoenix, Charlotte, and Austin.

Independent also reported that the Department of Homeland Security spokesperson Gillian Christensen said that the raids conducted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents were part of routine immigration enforcement actions in order to crack down people who are threats to public safety or a threat to the integrity of the immigration system.

On the other hand, the executive director of United We Dream, Cristina Jimenez said that this is clearly the first wave of attacks under the Trump administration and everybody knows that it is not going to be the only one.

An immigration attorney in Atlanta, Sarah Owings stated that the muscle to do this kind of stuff is here and it is just that the leash has been taken off. ICE agents are out and hunting,  picking up and rounding up anyone they can get.
